Stainless steel pans are easy to clean even it is burnt. Basically, there are two types of a burnt pan, one is extremely burnt and the other is slightly burnt.

The first one will take little effort to clean as it is extremely burnt but the other one will be cleaned easily.

For the First Case – Extremely Burnt Pans

What Do You Need?

  • A dish liquid or detergent powder.
  • Water (The water should be filled up to the half of the pan)
  • A spatula
  • Sponge or scrubber

Procedure:

  1. First, put the pan on the stove, on the flame, and pour some water in it.
  2. Now, pour 2 tablespoons of dish liquid or detergent powder into the water and mix it well.
  3. Put the flame on high for the first 2 minutes, then put on medium for 10 minutes and at last put on low for another 10-15 minutes.
  4. After that, take a spatula and gently rub the burnt area and the particles should come out easily.
  5. After doing that some burnt particles will still remain on the pan.

  5. After doing that some burnt particles may or may not remain on the pan.

Yeah, you will need only these two things.

Procedure:

  1. First, put the pan on the stove and on the flame.
  2. Then spread the salt on the pan properly. Make sure it should make a layer of half an inch.
  3. Now, heat the for 5-7 minutes. 
  4. After that, take the cloth or towel and rub the pan while heating. But be safe during this process because you may burn your hand.
  5. Do this for 2-3 minutes and all the burnt particles will be cleaned off.
  6. Now, just clean the pan with a cloth, and your job is done.
